Commercial Strategy and Analytics

Alcresta is seeking a talented leader to join our commercial organization to launch RELiZORB into Short Bowel Syndrome while supporting analytical assessment into other therapeutic markets.  The Manager/Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy & Analytics is a critical commercial leader tasked with assessing business opportunities and challenges within the organization. This role entails leading analytical assessments and support with various customer-facing teams and internal stakeholders to maximize commercial opportunities while meeting assigned performance goals. This individual will focus on driving performance by leading the development, integration, and implementation of the business forecasting process for the commercial organzation. The role involves close collaboration with marketing, market access, and other key stakeholders to develop and execute strategies. The Manager/Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy and Analytics will support the VP of Sales in key business insights including performance KPIs, incentive compensation, and other key business trends.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analytical mindset, with ability to make strategic recommendations.
  • Drive analytical assessment to make recommendations to commercial operations, lead investment discussions, evaluate opportunities, and coordinate resource allocation.
  • Drive analytical assessment to identify and evaluate customer and market opportunities through engagement with field leadership, analysis, and collaboration with HQ and field-based cross functional teams.
  • Collect, summarize, and provide commercial insights related to incentive compensations, sales trends, CRM (Veeva) and business opportunities.
  • Lead strategic projects aimed at advancing innovation, performance, and engagement.
  • Support strategic planning and the goal setting process while contributing to the development of solutions to track customer-specific critical success factors, strategic imperatives, key tactical programs, performance metrics, and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2- 5 years of pharmaceutical or medical device experience or life sciences strategic/management consulting experience preferred.
  • Previous managerial or project management experience preferred.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Travel ~10%.
  • Location - Waltham, Massachusetts.
